2008 National Crime Victim Rights Week
On April 17, 2008, Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen hosted a public ceremony in the Capitol rotunda to commemorate National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The ceremony honored victims of crime and also paid special tribute to members of the Wisconsin Crime Victims’ Rights Board—the state’s victims’ rights enforcement board. This year marks the 10th year since the enactment of the legislation that created the Board. Speakers included, the attorney general and Calumet County District Attorney Ken Kratz, the chair of the Crime Victims’ Rights Board.
