Newsmakers: A Check-In with JFC Co-Chairs Rep. Born and Sen. Marklein
Joint Finance Committee Co-Chairs Representative Mark Born, R-Beaver Dam and Sen. Howard Marklein, R-Spring Green are taking the reins of the biennial budget process now that the Governor has shared his vision. Although they say there are areas of agreement, solutions to some of the state’s biggest challenges will look quite different in a Republican budget, regardless of a record state surplus.
