Newsmakers: Antlerless Deer Hunt in Northern Wisconsin

On May 27, 2014, Senior Producer Steve Walters interviewed Kevin Wallenfang, big game ecologist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and George Meyer, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, about the proposal for buck-only fall deer hunting season in 19 counties, most of which are in northern Wisconsin. The DNR Board is scheduled to vote on the proposal Wednesday.
