Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton discussed her role in state government, the possibility of becoming governor and her recent support of the presidential campaign of U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-New York, in an Newsmaker Interview with WisconsinEye host Steve Walters, the Madison Burearu Chief for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Clinton lost Wisconsin’s primary earlier in the week to U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, who had been endorsed by Gov. Jim Doyle. The interview took place in Lawton’s office in the state Capitol on February 21.
