Newsmakers: Roe v. Wade in Wisconsin – A Discussion with Pro-Life Advocates
On June 6, 2022, Newsmakers Host Lisa Pugh sat down with Julaine Appling, president of Wisconsin Family Action, and State Representative Barbara Dittrich (R-Oconomowoc) to discuss abortion in Wisconsin. The U.S. Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling this month that could overturn Roe v. Wade, removing federal protection to a woman’s access to an abortion. If that happens, a century old Wisconsin law goes into effect in this state, allowing abortion only to save the mother’s life. Newsmakers is hosting two programs on this topic, this week inviting pro-life advocates to share their views.
