Assembly Committee on on Consumer Protection

The Committee on Consumer Protection held a public hearing January 6, 2010 at the State Capitol to discuss the following items: Assembly Bill 285 relating to dispensing motor vehicle fuel for persons with disabilities, granting rule-making authority, and providing a penalty; Assembly Bill 607 relating to requiring carbon monoxide detectors in buildings containing one or two dwelling units; Assembly Bill 383 relating to convictions disqualifying a person from holding a mortgage loan originator license; Assembly Bill 405 relating to prohibiting the manufacture and sale of bottles and cups for children that contain bisphenol A, creating labeling requirements, making an appropriation, and providing a penalty.
