Bright Ideas from the Green Chair: UW-Stevens Point Chancellor Bernie L. Patterson
UW-Stevens Point chancellor Bernie Patterson speaks candidly about the strengths and impacts of the campus he leads, including the evolution of its world-class College of Natural Resources.
Patterson also discusses how the campus is dealing with a projected $4.5 million budget deficit. “We need to decide two things by the end of this semester — which programs we’re going to eliminate and which ones we’re not. We’ve been talking about this for a year now, and it’s time for closure.”
Patterson credits faculty, staff, students and administrators for their cooperation, innovation and determination to forge a successful path forward.
