Newsmakers: Crime and Law Enforcement as Election Issues
Recent data shows violent crime rates are going down throughout Wisconsin and across the nation, but law enforcement is dealing with other day-to-day challenges, keeping crime and public safety a top of mind issue in the upcoming election. Joining WisconsinEye’s Newsmakers on April 29, 2024, are two current police chiefs representing different regions of our state – Chief Kelly Bakken of Altoona in Eau Claire County and Chief Danny Thompson from the city of Waukesha.
