A wave of recent US Supreme Court rulings has quietly returned major decision-making authority to the states, shaping everything from abortion rights and Medicaid access to environmental policy, school athletics, and even online speech. On November 13, 2025, Ripon College Center for Politics and the People event features a presentation by Steven Sorenson, Attorney at von Briesen & Roper and Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Ripon College.
