Newsmakers: 2023 State Republican Convention Preview
Republicans statewide are gearing up for their state convention in La Crosse this weekend: on the agenda are trainings, Congressional and state legislative leader panels – and also considerable discussion about 2024. No one knows who may run against Senator Tammy Baldwin and which GOP presidential candidates may be courting Wisconsin delegates. On June 12, 2023, WisconsinEye’s Newsmakers was joined by Mark Jefferson, Executive Director of the Republican Party of Wisconsin, and Hannah Testin, Vice Chair of the Third Congressional District, to provide an overview of the convention agenda.
