Newsmakers: Drop Boxes and Election Integrity in Wisconsin

Next week the State Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a ballot drop box case that could result in them overturning their own decision from less than 2 years ago. Critics of drop boxes say they aren’t secure and erode public confidence in elections; supporters say they improve voter accessibility. Joining WisconsinEye’s Newsmakers on May 6, 2024 are two voting experts: Denise Jess, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired and leader in the Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition, and Bryna Godar, staff attorney at the University of Wisconsin Law School’s State Democracy Research Initiative.
