Newsmakers: Exit Interview with Rep. Gordon Hintz
On August 22, 2022, Newsmakers Host Lisa Pugh sat down with outgoing State Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh). Rep. Hintz was elected in 2006 and has since served 8 terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He is one of only a handful of state Democrats who know what it’s like to be in the majority party. He spent 4 years as minority leader and became known for sharp criticism of his colleagues across the aisle, including Speaker Robin Vos. He announced in March, he won’t be seeking re election. We check in with him on his proudest accomplishments, future plans and concerns for Wisconsin’s future.
