In one of his most candid interviews, Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn talked about the three-year drop in crime in Milwaukee, the correlation between changes in household incomes and crime, and why legislators and Gov. Scott Walker enacted a concealed carry law that poses major problems for police. He also called the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s recent series on Milwaukee police officers "disgraceful." The Newsmakers interview was conducted on Oct. 28 at Marquette University’s Diederich College of Communication.
