Newsmakers: State Budget Hearing Advocacy

The legislature’s Joint Finance Committee will wrap up its public budget hearings next week in Minocqua and Wisconsinites from all corners of the state have been turning out to share their priorities – ranging from K-12 education to local government funding and health care. On April 17, 2023, WisconsinEye’s Newsmakers was joined by Tami Jackson of the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities, Peter Bakken of the Wisconsin Council of Churches and Jim Flaherty of AARP Wisconsin.
