Newsmakers: What to Know Before Voting at the Polls
There is perhaps no more stressful job on election day than that of a county’s chief election officer in a state like Wisconsin. Our election results are not only expected to be close, but heavily scrutinized and likely contested. On November 4, 2024, WisconsinEye’s Newsmakers welcomes two veteran local election chiefs on the day before their busiest day of the year – Ashley Reichert, Washington County Clerk and Lisa Tollefson, Rock County Clerk and Vice President of the Wisconsin County Clerks Association. Additional campaign and election-related coverage is available on @WisconsinEye‘s Campaign 2024 page, where you can find campaign rallies, forums, news conferences and interviews.
