News Conference: Bi-Partisan Legislators to Reintroduce “Credit for Caring Act”

On February 19, 2019, a bi-partisan group of legislators lead by Senators Patrick Testin (Stevens Point) and Bob Wirch (Somers) joined Representatives Ken Skowronski (Franklin) and Deb Kolste (Janesville) to reintroduce the Credit for Caring Act, a bill that would create a nonrefundable individual income tax credit for people who act as caregivers for a member or members of their family. In attendance to show their support will be members of AARP Wisconsin, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources. The news conference took place in the Senate Parlor at the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, WI.
