Gov. Evers Tours UW-Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences

On August 30, 2019, Gov. Tony Evers toured the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s School of Fresh Water Sciences, highlighting the state’s efforts to protect Wisconsin’s water resources. The Governor toured a number of labs and met with Prof. Sandra McLellan, Prof. Rebecca Klaper, Asst. Prof. Jhonatan Sepulveda-Villet, Russell Cuhel, and Carmen Aguilar. The Governor then took a boat tour on the Neeskay, meeting with Val Klump, Dean of Freshwater Sciences for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Capt Greg Stamatelakys. Also attending was DNR Sec. Preston D. Cole and UW – Milwaukee Chancellor Mark Mone.
