On March 10, 2020, the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety held a public hearing on bills relating to battery or threat to a probation, extended supervision, and parole agent, smuggling items into or out of prisons by inmates, throwing or expelling a bodily substance at a public safety worker or prosecutor, battery by a person detained while awaiting trial as a sexually violent person, reimbursement to the village of Redgranite for local law enforcement investigation services to a correctional institution.
