On September 16, 2026, the Wisconsin Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on Wisconsin Business Leaders for Democracy v. Wisconsin Elections Commission. Case Number 2026AP1008. This is a review of a decision by a three-judge panel, appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court pursuant to WIS. STAT. § 751.035, which dismissed plaintiffs’ action seeking to declare the congressional map adopted by the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2022 unconstitutional on the grounds that it is an anticompetitive gerrymander.
