On September 21, 2026, the Wisconsin Counties Association will hold their annual conference. Coverage from day 1 features “PFAS 101.” This presentation focuses on all things PFAS — from basic background information, where PFAS have been found, and the costs associated with addressing cleanup to funding sources, regulations, and efforts to ban products. The presenters will also provide an overview of Marathon County’s approach to addressing PFAS in landfill leachate.
