Newsmakers: Inside the State Budget with Guest Todd Berry
In a Newsmakers interview on June 14, Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance President Todd Berry said Gov. Scott Walker and Republican lawmakers deserve credit for finally taking steps – including cutting aid to public schools, to the UW System and to local governments — to pass a state budget that puts state government on a more sound fiscal footing. Berry and Senior Producer Steve Walters reviewed the Top 5 spending programs in the budget the Legislature is expected to soon pass.
